Effective Date: May 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of eecpowerwashing.com (the "Site") and the pressure washing and exterior cleaning services provided by Extreme Exterior Cleaning ("EEC," "we," "our," or "us"). By using the Site, requesting a quote, or engaging EEC for any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. Services
EEC provides residential and commercial exterior cleaning services across Union, Somerset, Morris, and Middlesex counties in New Jersey, including but not limited to:
- House washing and soft-wash siding cleaning.
- Roof cleaning using ARMA-approved soft wash methods.
- Concrete, paver, and natural stone cleaning and sealing.
- Deck cleaning, brightening, and sealing.
- Window cleaning.
- Solar panel cleaning.
- Snow removal (commercial).
- Commercial building washing.
- Fleet washing, dumpster pad sanitation, and other commercial offerings listed on the Site.
The specific scope of work for each engagement is set out in the written quote we provide.
2. Quotes & Estimates
Quotes are free and non-binding until accepted in writing or by clear authorization (email, signed agreement, verbal approval recorded by our office). Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
Estimates are based on the information you provide (address, surface type, square footage, photos). On-site conditions discovered during the job may result in revised pricing. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding with additional work.
3. Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling
We confirm appointments by phone or text. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive scheduling-related text messages (see Section 11).
Cancellations made 24+ hours before scheduled service are free. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start may incur a $75 trip fee.
Weather Cancellations. Pressure washing requires safe, weather-appropriate conditions. We may reschedule jobs for inclement weather (rain, freezing temperatures, high winds, lightning, or unsafe roof conditions) at our discretion with no penalty to either party.
No-Shows. If we arrive at a scheduled time and cannot perform the work due to circumstances within your control (locked gates, blocked access, undisclosed hazards, vehicles not moved, dogs not secured), you agree to pay a $75 trip fee and reschedule.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made in writing in advance.
We accept:
- Cash.
- Check.
- Credit/debit card via our payment processor.
- ACH/electronic transfer.
Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge or the maximum rate allowed by New Jersey law, whichever is lower. Returned checks incur a $35 fee.
For larger commercial projects, we may require a deposit or progress payments as set out in the project quote.
5. Property Access & Preparation
You agree to:
- Provide unobstructed access to all surfaces to be cleaned.
- Disclose any hazards relevant to the work (ungrounded electrical, fragile siding, prior pressure damage, mold remediation history, etc.).
- Move vehicles, patio furniture, planters, grills, and other moveable items, or notify us in advance if you need them moved (additional fees may apply).
- Close and seal all windows and doors during service.
- Keep children and pets indoors during work.
- Inform anyone living at or working at the property of the scheduled service.
EEC is not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed conditions, items not moved as requested, or windows/doors left open during service.
6. Spot-Free Warranty
EEC stands behind our roof cleaning work with our Spot-Free Warranty. If algae, lichen, or moss returns to a roof we soft-washed within 12 months of the original service date, we will return and re-treat the affected areas at no additional cost.
The warranty applies only when:
- The original soft-wash service was paid in full.
- No third party has cleaned, treated, or coated the roof since our service.
- The customer notifies EEC in writing within 30 days of noticing the regrowth.
The warranty does not cover:
- Staining from organic debris (leaves, branches, sap).
- Damage from animals, ice, or storms.
- Mold or mildew due to undetected leaks.
- New growth caused by overhanging trees that drip onto the roof.
- New growth following partial roof replacement or addition of new sections.
- Roofs with structural damage or active leaks.
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the property and original customer of record.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EEC's total liability for any claim arising from our services or your use of the Site is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
EEC is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to surfaces (worn paint, brittle siding, deteriorated wood, prior structural damage, failing seals).
- Damage caused by undisclosed property defects (loose siding, broken caulk, electrical issues, hidden rot).
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost rental income, or diminution of property value.
- Damage to landscaping unless caused by our negligence (we make commercially reasonable efforts to protect plants).
Customer is responsible for notifying EEC in writing of any claimed damage within 7 days of service completion. Claims raised after this period may be denied.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EEC, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms.
- Your misuse of services.
- Your failure to disclose property hazards or pre-existing conditions.
- Any third-party claims arising from your property or your conduct.
9. Force Majeure
EEC is not liable for delays or failures to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, governmental actions, supply chain disruptions, equipment failure, public health emergencies, or staffing emergencies.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Informal Resolution. Before filing any formal claim, the parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation by contacting EEC at info@eecpowerwashing.com or (908) 578-5587 to describe the dispute and proposed resolution. The parties will spend at least 30 days attempting to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding Arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally within 30 days, you and EEC agree that any unresolved dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services will be resolved through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in Union County, New Jersey, by a single arbitrator. Each party will bear its own costs except as required by law.
Class Action Waiver. You agree that any arbitration or proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
Exception. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey for intellectual property infringement, unauthorized access, or to enforce confidentiality, without first proceeding to arbitration.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or arbitrator to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed quote or scope of work, constitute the entire agreement between you and EEC and supersede any prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements regarding the same subject matter.
