Winter Protection Without Hauling Anything Anywhere
A New Jersey winter is hard on anything left outside. Snow load, ice, road salt, UV, and freeze-thaw cycles do more damage between November and March than the rest of the year combined. A tarp and some bungee cords will not stop it. Tarps hold water, flap loose in the first nor'easter, and trap moisture against whatever they are covering.
Heat-shrunk film is different. It is pulled tight to the shape of the item, sealed, and vented so air keeps moving underneath. Nothing pools, nothing flaps, and nothing sits wet all winter. We do it at your property, so your boat stays on its trailer, your patio set stays on the patio, and you never pay to haul anything to a marina or storage yard.

What We Wrap And What Comes With It
Shrink wrapping is a winter service, but it is not only for boats. If it sits outside through a NJ winter, it can usually be wrapped.
- Boats, jet skis, and trailers, wrapped on site with a support frame and a walkway ridge so snow sheds instead of pooling
- Patio furniture sets, outdoor kitchens, grills, and bar carts
- Playsets, generators, HVAC condensers, and lawn equipment
- Commercial and job site work: scaffolding, roof openings, and building containment
- Vents sized to the cover so condensation escapes and mildew does not set in
- Access doors installed on request so you can get inside without cutting the film
- Spring removal and disposal, scheduled when you book or later in the season

Shrink Wrapping FAQs
Common questions about on-site boat, furniture, and equipment wrapping in New Jersey.
No. We wrap on site. Whether your boat is on a trailer in the driveway, parked alongside the garage, or sitting on blocks in the back yard, we bring the film, the framing materials, and the heat tools to you. Most customers across Union, Somerset, Morris, and Middlesex counties never move the boat at all.
Patio furniture sets, outdoor kitchens, grills, hot tub surrounds, playsets, jet skis, trailers, generators, and HVAC condensers are all common. On the commercial side we handle scaffolding wrap, roof opening containment, and job site enclosures. If it lives outside through a NJ winter, ask us.
October through early December is the window, and mid October is the sweet spot for scheduling. Once the first hard freeze arrives the calendar tightens up and film becomes harder to work in low temperatures. Booking early also means you pick the date instead of taking what is left.
Not when it is installed properly. Every cover we install gets vents sized to the item so air keeps circulating and condensation escapes. Skipped or undersized vents are the single most common reason a bargain wrap job ends in mildew by March. Ventilation is part of the job, not an upcharge.
Yes. Removal and disposal can be scheduled at the time you book the wrap or arranged later in the spring. We haul the used film away so you are not left with a driveway full of plastic on a Saturday morning.
